The Story: Curious Vision

You can’t tell the story of Curious Vision without Curious Book Co., our sister company, so let’s start there.

We set out in 2013 with the goal of producing the best custom notebooks in the world. We sourced the best materials, built a dream team, honed our production techniques and went from strength to strength. 

We still had more to offer though. We wanted to use our expertise to help brands find new ways to interact with their staff, clients and customers. We wanted to create entire suites of products, offer advice and help brands achieve their marketing goals. So we created Curious Vision.

Since then, we’ve worked with hundreds of different brands, many of which we’re sure you’ll be familiar with, and created some iconic, brand-defining merchandise.

Sales Executive Role

Curious is a competitive, aggressive and fast-paced sales environment for winners. The success of the business has been achieved by the hard work and resilience of our team, and ambition to push boundaries, building our brand, product and service.

This is driven by our hugely rewarding commission structure and work hard play hard ethos when we achieve our goals. Our niche is our top selling products, which we sell to businesses and brands complimented by our range promotional merchandise a fantastic compliment the books and 9/10 requested from a client who is ordering.

Sales Executive Job Responsibilities:
  • Cold calling
  • Warm lead nurturing – follow up calls with warm prospects
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new/ existing clients
  • Prospecting – researching and analysing new business’ and sectors to target and building a list on an excel spreadsheet / CRM
  • Write and send emails
  • Hold face to face meetings/ presentations
  • Negotiating and closing deals
  • Keep track of your sales figures and data and update the sales team leader
  • Speaking with suppliers to find new products and prices
  • Manage your own client portfolio
  • Making quotes and digital proposals – using Microsoft Word or Pages (MAC)
  • Create and propose new ideas and promotions in sales and marketing team meetings
  • Raising invoices
  • Raising purchase orders
  • Hit targets
